I’d lost count the number of times I wondered if the rain would ever stop in June! It felt like I spent endless days cooped up inside trying to think of new ways to entertain the little ones whilst trying to maintain some sanity for myself.
Thank goodness, those days are long gone the sun is out and it’s glorious! So, it’s time to put away the ‘brollies’, take out the strollers and scooters, and head down to where there is a whole lot of summer action, dining, and shopping going on for the whole family in Repulse Bay’s, ‘The Pulse’.It’s very easy to wind away a few hours here. Whether it’s a planned ‘Mums with Bubs’ weekly catchup or a ‘Baby-Free’ afternoon with girlfriends to enjoy a wine or two over lunch. You will find both options and variety here that will not disappoint!
The beach promenade in front of the complex is stroller friendly and fantastic for little scooter racers. No doubt your tots will spot the pirate ship and the large climbing frame found in one of two outdoor playgrounds. There is ample metered parking, a public car park, as well as redeemable parking within the complex itself.
The main shopping and dining outlets are situated over two levels with restaurants and cafes located on the ground floor. Specialty shops, as well as children’s toys and clothing shops are spread over the first floor. There is a small selection of quality baby and kids clothing with known brands such as ‘Seed Heritage’ and ‘Excuse my French’, as well as unique and interesting toy shops such as ‘Chickeeduck’, ‘Baby Concepts’, ‘Mini Party’, ‘Simply Toys’, ‘Book Castle’, and more.
No need to worry about the kids getting bored as you browse through the shops on the first floor. You’ll be happy to know there is a safe play area (with seating) and a jumping castle for small children to jump to their heart's content whilst you take a rest close by.
And when it’s time to fill hungry little mouths head downstairs to the ground floor where you will find a good selection of café’s, restaurants and bars catering to a wide selection of cuisines and tastes. Just make sure to come back up to the first floor to ‘Haagen Dazs’ for a well-deserved ‘home-time’ leaving treat.
