Yes the Zen Connect is Béaba's phone-first monitor, designed specifically for parents who want the freedom to check in remotely rather than carrying a dedicated handset. It uses a dedicated mobile app available on both Android and iOS, with video accessible via any WiFi or 4G network meaning you can monitor your baby from the backyard, the office, or anywhere else with a data connection, not just from within the home. One important note for Australian users: 5G networks are not currently supported, so if your phone automatically connects to a 5G network you may need to switch to 4G or WiFi to use the app a quick settings adjustment on most devices. On whether both parents can use it simultaneously: the app supports sharing camera access, making it simple for both parents or other caregivers to monitor the baby at the same time from their own devices, without needing to share a login or take turns with a single handset a significant practical advantage over traditional dedicated-screen monitors. The camera features Full HD 1080p resolution, an infrared LED for clear night vision, sound and movement detection, a walkie-talkie function, thermometer, 2x zoom, lullabies, and video recording. The flexible 21cm stand can be twisted to attach to a cot rail, shelf, or furniture, giving considerably more placement options than a fixed-base camera.
