KONFIDENCE UV SUN PROTECTION SHORTS

The unisex styling of these shorts makes them perfect for both boys and girls. They can be worn with our UV T-Shirts in or out of the water, or simply on their own as swimming trunks – the choice really is up to you. Konfidence UV Shorts are available in multiple colours to coordinate with our UV T-Shirts and Hats.

We are very excited about our range of sun protection clothing, because it uses a material called PBT. This material is already used in high-end sportswear because of its extraordinary properties, and Konfidence now lead the way in using the inherent benefits of this material in the design of children's UV clothing. Mechanically strong, PBT is perfect for body-huggable clothing, and when compared to Lycra it is proven to retain its shape for longer, is less prone to snagging, is far more chlorine-resistant, and is able to maintain a greater consistency in its UV protection rating over the life of the garment.

Care Instructions
Konfidence UV Shorts should be washed in cold clean water and hung to dry in the shade. They may be washed on a cool wash (maximum 30°C). Do not tumble dry and do not iron. If the shorts are used in the swimming pool or sea, chlorine and seawater can have a bleaching effect on the colours and damage threads, so to avoid degradation please rinse out in clean water as soon as possible. Please don't leave in a warm or hot car without rinsing first, as this can increase the chance of chlorine damage.

Materials
The major component we use is PBT material, which has similar stretch and feel properties to Lycra but is better able to retain shape and colour fastness, especially in chlorinated water.
