DESCRIPTION

Charlie Banana is all about natural living and we are pleased to offer Amber Necklaces and Bracelets. Here is why we love the benefits of amber so much.

Also called Northern Gold, amber is believed to:
● Ease pain
● Promote healing
● Protect the immune system
● Reduce joint inflammation
● Make the eruption of teeth less painful
● Make teeth grow stronger when worn in direct contact with the skin

These benefits come from the contents of quality Baltic amber which contains 3-8% of Succinic acid, a powerful therapeutic substance with many applications for healing. Succinic acid has been shown to strengthen the body and immune system and provide effective pain relief.

Baltic amber is a fossilized resin of ancient Pinus succinifera trees that lived over 50 million years ago. It is not a mineral, but an organic substance and therefore is like a “living” stone, warm against the skin.

In antiquity, amber was called electrum (ēlektōr “shining sun”). Phoenicians, Etruscans and Romans believed that amber protected from the evil spirits. Baltic tribes hung amber over the beds of newborns as a blessing by the worshiped gods of the sea and sun and as a protection against misfortune.

Safety Tips: Amber teething bracelets or necklaces should be worn around the child’s arm and should not be chewed on. It is not a toy. The string in each of our amber bracelets is knotted by hand in between each and every bead, so should the bracelet break, the rest of the beads will not scatter. It should be removed while the child is asleep. Please supervise your child at all times while wearing the bracelet.

Two Clasp options: (1) SCREW (2) POP
Tip: Connect two or more necklaces / bracelets to make the Amber suitable for adult use.
